Our AS and A2 events played a huge role in preparing for my career in th music industry. Confidence is key as a performer and although the events were relitivly small, they can be nerve racking. Furthermore, playing live is a whole lot different to playing alone in your bedroom running through scales. The conditions of a live enviroment, such as the crowd responce and even the temperature of the particular room, determine if you play well on the night or badly and the AS events helped build the foundations for improvement when playing bigger live shows in more difficult conditions.
